Welcome to Year 9 ICT

This year in ICT you will be working on a project. This project

as you can probably guess is centred around a ski trip. The main focus of this ski trip project is to research, plan and organise a school skiing trip using your ICT skills.

You will do this in a variety of ways including:

 

Research using paper-based and internet resources Carrying out a survey to find out pupil's preferences Using a spreadsheet to work out the costs of the holiday Creating & using a database of possible destinations Designing and making a poster to advertise the trip

This site has been created to help you complete this project in Year 9 and by using the buttons on the left hand side of the page you can move through each section of the project.

For some pieces of work there may be some links to other websites to help you out that you can click on. These will also be in the links section of the site.

There may also be a template or exemplar piece of work for you to look at or download to help you complete a piece of work which can also be accessed by clicking it.

You should start this project by getting yourself organised!

You can do this by

creating a

folder and making sure that you save all of your work in ICT into this folder.
